I'm a veteran of the United States Air Force and started my career by serving in this branch of the military. There, I learned organization, discipline, and leadership. I was placed in charge of Air Force Accounting and Finance functions that earned me the Air Force Commendation Medal for creating programs that saved significant amounts of money and eliminated waste. During my time in the Air Force, I also attended Saint Leo University majoring in Business Administration with a specialization in Accounting.
After my military service, I accepted a position as a staff accountant with a national real estate development company in Miami, Florida. I worked my way into operations and was promoted to vice president positions where I was responsible for identifying, acquiring, planning, permitting, developing, marketing and selling large-scale, mixed-use, master-planned communities.
